Devon, one of England's largest Counties, has it all. A delightful mix of scenery from rolling countryside with small fields and hedgerows, to villages with thatched cottages by the dozen. Majestic rivers such as the Taw, Torridge and Exe, winding through wooded valleys, leading to wind blown estuaries. Instow and Appledore port towns such as Bideford in North Devon with its white houses and tree lined quay, and in South Devon, Dartmouth with its 16th Century merchant's houses. With all this in one county how can one forget Clovelly, with its unspoilt fishing villages - picturesque cobbled streets and harbour, it's all here, just a short drive away.
